1. Preparation before installation
As an important part of modern fire protection systems, the integrated fire water tank of box pumps is directly related to the reliability of the fire protection system. Before installation, the following preparations must be made:
Foundation acceptance: Check whether the strength of the concrete foundation meets the standards (C25 or above), the foundation surface should be flat, and the dimensional error should not exceed ±5mm. Drainage ditches should be installed around the foundation to prevent water accumulation.
Equipment acceptance: Check the water tank specifications, model, material certificate, certificate of conformity and other documents, and check whether there are any transportation damages in the box and accessories. Stainless steel water tanks need special checks on weld quality.
2. Prefabricated assembly process
Base plate installation: Lay the base plate on the basis in numbering order, use a level to correct the level (Error ≤2mm/m), and use food-grade sealant strips and bolts to fix the connection.
Side plate assembly: Install side plates in sequence, and special connections should be used to tighten between each side plate, the base plate and adjacent side plates. Pay attention to the accurate position of reserved holes such as inlet and outlet pipes, overflow pipes, etc.
Top plate installation: After the side plate is assembled, the top plate is installed to ensure the overall structure is stable. For large water tanks, a tension or support structure is required to be added inside.
Pump group installation: Fix the fire pump group on the internal or external special platform of the water tank according to the designed position to ensure that the centering error between the pump axis and the motor axis is ≤0.1mm.
3. Key points to note
Sealing treatment: All joint joints should be sealed with non-toxic environmentally friendly sealant for secondary sealing, and a 24-hour full water test should be carried out before acceptance can be checked after no leakage.
Anti-corrosion measures: The welding parts need to be passivated, and insulating gaskets should be added to prevent electrochemical corrosion.
Safety protection: The top of the water tank should be equipped with a maintenance port (≥600mm) and an anti-fall device, and a protective railing should be installed around it.
Electrical safety: The motor wiring of the pump set must be operated by professional electricians, grounding protection should be done, and waterproofing measures should be installed on the control cabinet.
Debugging and running: After installation, the system is debugged in a coordinated manner is required to test the reliability of functions such as automatic start-stop and pressure maintenance.
Through standardized installation processes and strict quality control, we can ensure the long-term and stable operation of the integrated fire water tank of the box pump, providing reliable guarantees for fire safety.
